I am actually currently living with my aunts in Malitbog, Southern Leyte.

According to the script inscribed on the stone walls of the ruins of the two watchtowers called “Baluarte” located 1 kilometer equidistant from the Roman Catholic church. One of the watchtowers is located in Barangay Caaga and the pther one in Barangay Abgao. However, the town of Malitbog was reorganized under the provisions of the Maura Law of 1893. During the American Regime, it was again reorganized under the provisions of Act. No. 82 passed by the Philippine Commission in 1900.
