Just in case you don’t know, Amparaiso is a beach resort in barangay Amparo, Macrohon, Southern Leyte. The term “Amparaiso” is a combination of two terms: Amaparo and Paraiso. Amparo is the name of the barangay while Paraiso is a Visayan term for Paradise.
So, by just looking at the name “Amparaiso”, we can immediately think of its meaning as the paradise in barangay Amparo.
You said Amparaiso don’t need your money, what does it mean?
Okay. I went to Amparaiso beach resort twice already: First during the birthday of my aunt last November 20, 2007; Second during our family (unofficial) reunion last December 9, 2007.
These two events are all memorable to me.
First during my aunt’s birthday, our Toyota Innova stuck on the sand at their parking area. To tell you, their parking area is not really good for cars to park. They better ask their architect for the improvement of it. Or they can visit the Kinamot restaurant and have a look at their parking area.
Secondly, during the 2nd time we went to Amparaiso beach resort I and our family really enjoyed their obsolete Videoke set. Few of the songs we entered were defective. I don’t know if their other customers complained about this.
And did you know that this morning my order were all denied by their store attendant? We liked their Calamari, Sweet and Sour (Fish), and Crispy Chicken. My aunt told me to order these but the man manning their store denied my order. It seems that they’re not interested to earn something from my orders.
I was deliberating whether or not I should reply to the blog you posted a while back. Then I thought, why not? I would like to entertain and address your issues you have had on both occasions November and December 2007. On behalf of Amparaiso’s management, my apology for not replying to your comment much earlier.
•As to your aunts’ car getting stuck in the parking lot area, our parking area is not cemented or paved. It is layered and scattered with small rock pebbles for ambiance and curb appeal as it is designed. I can’t help but wonder how your aunts’ car could have gotten stuck as this type of incident never ever occurred in the past to present.
•Karaoke Laser Disc Video has been replaced recently with more and updated song list. And thanks for your input on this.
•Food Items on the Menu – I’m really glad to hear that you like our Calamari, Sweet & Sour Fish and Crispy Chicken because like yourself, there are other guest we serve each day who likes the same food items on the menu. We might have run out completely of those items you ordered at the time as we prefer not to over stock with food items to ensure its freshness.
So I hope you find this satisfactory. I’d most certainly welcome anymore comments or questions you might have and you can reach me thru email at info@amparaiso.com or hydd_2000@yahoo.com
Thank you
