Maharlika Highway in Liloan, Dangerous

Riders coming from the northern part of the Philippines who want to visit Mindanao via the Maharlika Highway will pass through the dangerous part of the Maharlika Highway which is found in Liloan, Southern Leyte. I described it as dangerous because you will not expect that some part of the road are defective as shown on the images below. You will not notice this damages while you are in approximately 30 meters away from this part.

Well, if you are using the off-ride sports bike or the big bike, this damaged road might be fine for you. But it’s too dangerous to riders who use underbone bikes or any low-profiled bikes.

And one more reminder… as you reach the town of Libagon, Southern Leyte, it will be good if you reduce your bike’s speed to 50km/hour - 60km/hr because you’ll find lot of damaged part of the highway from this area down to Liloan, Southern Leyte.
